Norton (Caroline, 1808-1877). An original two-sided manuscript letter, signed by Caroline Norton, dated 20th December (year unkno, to Robert Folkstone Williams (poet, author, journalist and editor of New Monthly Magazine), letter thanking him for a copy of his recent volume of poetry, containing the poem 'I've been a wanderer on the seas', most likely Rhymes & Rhapsodies published in 1833. She also offers to contribute her own poetry to the magazine, 11.5cm x 18.5cm approx., letter tipped-in onto card for display purposes, with original envelope. Norton was an English social reformer and author.
