George III mahogany and inlaid urn shaped knife box converted to a decanter box, containing three green glass lozenge section decanters with silver gilt mounts, hallmarked London 1897, with glass stoppers also mounted in silver gilt, and with six engraved glass liqueur glasses, all within an urn pedestal over a square base with boxwood and ebony chequered vertilinear inlays, height 71.5cm

The wooden urn is a little loose on its base. There are some losses to the stringing around the outer cover. There are small losses to stringing around the base. Some stringing is already replaced.
There isn't a key.
The interior has been converted to accommodate the decanters and glasses. The glasses are engraved with foliate swags and are in good condition.
The decanters all have conforming hallmarks and both stoppers and flasks are in good condition.
The urn has been through a process of restoration previously and would benefit from some further restorative work.
