Gordon Clifford Barlow (b.1913 - d.2005) "Kent & Sussex Channel Coast Golfing" oil on canvas signed to the lower left-hand corner and described and signed by the artist on the rear of the canvas plus descriptive brass style plaque mounted to the decorative gilt frame image 19.25 x 22.25"- overall 26.25"30.5". Note Barlow Yorkshire born landscape artist who studies at Bradford College of Art under Herbert Royle - exhibited at ROI, RI, and Pris Salon. He is also recorded in The Dictionary of Sporting Artists 1865-1990 following his series of nine famous golf courses painted in 1975. Note: Golf Collection from "David Easby Estate"
