Australia: Melbourne and Metropolitan Tramways Board, 5% stock 1944, inscribed stock certificate, 192[5], #330, mauve with grey underprint, printed by Waterlow & Sons. The government owned Board was formed in 1919 by merger of numerous tramways in the city. It lasted until 1983 when it was taken over by the Metropolitan Transit Authority. VF and rare.
