A Victorian silver mounted travelling vanity case, Charles Fox and Co Ltd, London 1890/91, the leather case with hinged cover opening to reveal slide mechanism drawers, all encompassing silver topped dressing table jars, with two removeable trays, hidden compartments and a mirror, stamped 'Fisher 188 Strand' 20 x 37.5 x 27cm, within a leather carry case, initialled to the front (at fault) (some pieces with associated silver mounts)
This vanity case belonged to the vendor's relative Eleanor Georgina Meyrick, nee Nevill (d.1964) of Apley Castle, Wellington, Telford.
Married to the late Roland Francis Mayrick, heir to Sir Thomas Charlton Mayrick.
