Revolver - early 5 shot Deane, Adams & Deane Model 1851 percussion revolver, calibre 54 bore, frame marked "Adams Patent No 209". Octagonal barrel 6" top flat engraved "Deane Adams Deane (makers to HRH Prince Albert) 30 King William Stt London Bridge". Unfluted 5 shot cylinder, side spring safety, one piece chequered walnut grip, butt cap with cap well. Original blued finish (to barrel and frame, minor roughness), acanthus scrolling to frame. Nice piece in GWO & Condition. Double action spurless hammer. A popular revolver used by officers in the Crimea. No licence required
