MINIATURE SHAFT & GLOBE FORM. 2.7ins tall. A remarkably small size shaft & globe form with wide broad string rim (undamaged), hand applied. C. 1650. Dark aqua glass, heavily patinated body. Old cork in lip with small flake to side - in use, certainly old. shallow base pontil with DWB sticker. So difficult to describe in words - in essence the personification of elegance & appeal in such a very early shape. Exceptionally rare.
