A SECOND WORLD WAR GROUP OF FIVE AND SIMILAR GROUP OF FOUR. A Second World War group of five comprising 1939-45 Star, Atlantic Star, Defence Medal and War Medal, all unnamed as issued and an Elizabeth II Police Long Service and Good Conduct Medal named to Sergt. Derek A. Beasant. Mounted as worn. With three documents suggesting Beasant was a Temporary Sub Lieutenant with the R.N.V.R.who served aboard H.M.S. Rosemary as a gunner with exemplary reports. H.M.S. Rosemary was an Arabis class mine sweeping sloop that served in the First and Second World Wars with much success.
And a similar group of four comprising 1939-45 and Africa Stars, Defence Medal and War Medal, mounted as worn, unnamed as issued.
