A George III walnut chest on chest, with moulded cornice pediment above an arrangement of eight drawers, over bracket feet, height 172cm, width 97cm and depth 49cm, some damage and later repairs.
Some repairs to splits to the cornice. There are some splits to the sides of the chest. The drawer handles have been replaced. The drawers are a mixture of pine and oak-lined. There have been some repairs carried out to the drawer runners.
The sides are not veneered but are stained pine. There are a number of old woodworm trails to the side panels.
