A Caledonian Railway oil can with a large and impressive brass plate, KIRRIEMUIR STATION, CAL RY, PAR OIL. The plate is 5½"x3½", and in the style of the Scottish North Eastern Railway, the can 13" high, complete with handle, bung and chain, original condition. Kirriemuir was the terminus of a branch north west of Forfar. It closed in 1952. (Postage Band: C)
