A late 19th century bone fan, the monture quite plain, the double leaf of cream silk backed with cream glazed cotton, painted with a winged lady with flowing locks and quite beguiling expression, hovering in a field in a mist, indistinct signature, G. Sampuré, guard approx. 35cm
In used condition, wear to the bottom border, rubbing on the central folds, the verso with light staining and wear to the cotton at the centre.
