A Chinese parcel gilt silver ceremonial crown, 19th century. Embossed with a central flaming pearl flanked by confronting phoenixes amongst clouds to one side with the other side depicting three equidistant figures against a backdrop of confronting dragons amongst clouds. Displayed on a later made bespoke wooden stand, 20th century. 11.4 in (29 cm) diameter of crown. 23.2 in (59 cm) height including stand. Weight of crown: 515 grams.
