A William IV leather 'Treasury Board' Dispatch Box, the chamfered top with central swing handle, William IV cipher and gilt embossed 'Treasury Board', the interior being green velvet lined and having raised sides, the top also inscribed with the initials 'C. R.'; Charles Ross served as a Junior Lord of the Treasury from 1834/1835, W 40.5 cm x H 13 cm x D 20 cm.
