Royal Army Medical Corps Officer's Cuff Rank Tunic. The tunic is of the regulation pattern with rank lance and crowns to the cuff indicating a Major and to the left breast medal ribbons of the QSA & KSA. Complete with RAMC collar badges and buttons. The original tailors label with ink name Major Painton May 1919. The tunic is in clean condition, but now with moth holes ... Accompanied by a later period Officer's Sam Browne belt. (2 items) Attributed to Major George Richard Painton who was commissioned in 1904 and promoted Captain 1914, with Major 1st July 1915. The 1922 Army list shows him still serving, with the rank of Major at Constantinople.
