1856 (July 17) Entire from Calcutta to Italy, endorsed "Per Bentwick" and "From Alexandria to Trieste by Austrian Steamer", franked 1855 4a pair (5th printing, S.G. 25, cut to shape, touched at base) each cancelled by octagonal "B/1", red boxed "INDIA / PAID" and "D.A.L" with a black "10" charge, backstamped at Calcutta and Genoa with large "55" (probably a private filing number).
