British Third Pattern Fairbairn Sykes Fighting Knife. 175mm long double edged blade, no makers mark. Crossguard maker marked "William Rodgers, Sheffield, England". Much black top coat finish remains with some copper undercoat showing on highlights of the grip. No mould number. Overall length 295mm. Complete with scabbard. One leather tab is torn, belt retaining loop torn, but elastic retaining strap is intact. Brass chape with most of the black finish remaining.

Knife is in very good overall condition with no rust or pitting or sharpening wear. Much crossgrain finish intact. Scabbard a/f.
