A FINE LATE 19TH CENTURY JAPANESE SATSUMA MEIJI PERIOD, 1868 - 1911, EARTHENWARE BALUSTER VASE, CIRCA 1890
Enamelled to both sides with cartouche panels of Geisha, Samurai and Dignitary, figures in a garden landscape view on an ivory glazed ground, in Yabu Meizan manner, supported by Daoist Temple Buddhist lion, sold together with a late 19th/early 20th Century Chinese terracotta brown glazed teapot and cover, enamelled in blue with Buddhist motifs, bearing Qing Dynasty style four character impressed mark.

Condition: good overall, tiny nick to lions face
