A LARGE VICTORIAN MAHOGANY BREAKFRONT LIBRARY BOOKCASE 
with moulded dentil cornice over pair of central glazed doors flanked by glazed door either side separated by reeded Corinthian style columns on base with pair of panel cabinet doors flanked by door either side on plinth base, 250cm high x 250cm wide x 57cm deep

Provenance bookcase was constructed by a James McRae for the Littlejohn family in their property in Greenock circa 1900 then being moved to Ashborne house in Bishopton for the last 87 years, James McRae was a ships carpenter who went on to captain ships for the Clan shipping line

Bookcase is in good overall condition with minor loss to dentil cornice, leaf compartment to either side approximately 53cm deep x 141cm high, surface scratches to top of base

Bookcase separates into cornice, centre glazed compartment, two glazed side compartments and base
