A HEAVY LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY INDIAN RAJ PERIOD KASHMIRI SILVER TEAPOT OF TIPPED KANG FORM
Chased Kutch pattern with segments and floral foliage, stylised snake form handle.
(h 16.5cm x width 24.5cm x depth 13cm, 980.5g)

N.B. the tipped form traditionally were Chinese kang vessels for collecting rainwater, and was a popular shape for Kashmiri silversmiths, similar example can be seen at Christie’s, Lot 59, 15th October Sale 2019
