RIMMELS CREAM OF ALMONDS LONDON POT LID & BASE. A very large 3.9ins diam. pot lid with nine lines of varied font writing, & decorative outer border, from this famed London Perfumer. Not many lids boast having ‘Saponaceous/....Soft & Abundant/ Lather/... Toilet Vinegar’! Whilst the inside of base rim is mostly absent this is a remarkable survivor - the outer serrated lid rim being undamaged (some rusting - will clean off), and on the base bottom edge too. (lid 9.5/10)
