A section of 18 pounder shell casing fitted with a suspension point for use as a gong, marked to the base '18 Pr' 1915 and 9.11.15 amongst other marks, engraved to one side with an Artillery Crest, to the other side with '1st G.H.2. Ammn Park B.E.F.' surrounded by ten engraved signatures: C.C. Sydney, M.W. Bowman, C. Pinder, O.H. Moseley, J.P. French, A.R. Dawbarn, M. Williams and three others. A Joseph French 14423 from North Armagh, served with the Royal Garrison Artillery 31 Heavy Battery
