An old Singalese sword, Kastane, blade 21" with narrow fuller and brass panels containing a star and a crescent, the steel crossguard and knucklebow having down turned quillons and terminating in dragons heads, all chiselled with brass inlay and mounts, the horn grip having carved monster head pommel, GC for age (worn overall) Probably 18th century. £150-200
