Norman ladies tricycle, circa 1930's. The company was founded shortly after WWI as the Kent Plating & Enamelling Co. by brothers Charles and Fred Norman in their garden shed, moving to larger premises in the 1920's and began producing complete bicycles. By 1935 they had a new factory in Ashford and went on to produce motorised machines, including the Norman Nippy.
This parallel tube ladies tricycle has 26" wheels with a front hub brake and wicker baskets to both the front and the rear.
