An Arts and Crafts silver tazza by Albert Edward Jones, Birmingham 1907, the circular hammered bowl embossed centre of an owl on a branch with crescent moon, scrolled wire supports, raised on as spreading base, 11.5x9cm, (4.3x3.5ins.), 110gms. (3.8ozs.) Albert Edward Jones (1878 - 1954), trained at the Birmingham School of Art and was for a period a Guildsman of the Birmingham Guild of Handicraft. He founded A. E. Jones & Co. in 1902.
