A GROUP OF CHINESE PORCELAIN ITEMS, MING /QING DYNASTY. To include a provincial Ming dynasty blue and white dish decorated with figures; A blue and white porcelain cup; A blue and white porcelain saucer; A lobed blue and white cup stand with gilt metal rim and four character mark to base; Together with a famille rose circular box and cover. Largest dish 16cm diam. (5)
Cup with faint 2cm hairline at rim. Ming dish with star hairline to base also visible in the well. Other items in good overall condition. Provenance: Property of Dennis Young, son to Sir Mark Aitchison Young GCMG (1886-1974) who served as Governor of Hong Kong between 1941 and 1947, thence by descent.
