A (GWR) cabside numberplate 9442 from a 9400 Class 0-6-0PT built by Robert Stephenson & Hawthorns, Works No 7579, in March 1951. It spent most of its working life at Duffryn Yard, before moving towards the end to Barry and Neath from where it was withdrawn in July 1964 and sold for scrap to Birds at Morriston. Cast brass, in ex loco condition. The plate has chalked instructions on the back to tap the right and left end bosses for rear fitting bolts. Cast brass, the front repainted.
