Antique Chinese bronze foot soldiers helmet.
Purportedly from the late Western Zhou Dynasty (1046-771BC) of China.
"This helmet would have been worn by a foot soldier. The Bronze age was also known as the dawn of Chinese civilization. During this time, soldiers wore protective gear made of leather, including leather shields decorated with bronze. The only protective item made entirely of bronze were the helmets".
