First World War - Erast C Luscott - 15 year old’s under age soldier’s double issue BWM to 16803 Pte E.C. Luscott K.S.L.I. and Victory Medal to J.51498 E.C. Luscott A.B. R.N. swing mounted as worn with remains of ribbon for star, polished and some Verdigris, fair. Ernest Charles Luscott was born in Clun 9/2/00, enlisted in Shropshire L.I. 31/12/14 stating his age was 19, landed in France 23/6/15, returned to UK 19/8/15 and discharged 23/8/15 having made a mis-statement as to age on enlistment. He then enlisted in Navy as a boy 3/3/16, still serving in 1929. With copied RN record, Army MIC and page from service papers.
