A George III oak mule chest, with substantial, moulded lid, the front having four ogee raised and fielded panels above three drawers, the sides panelled, the interior with till and drawers, on ogee feet, 96cm h; 58 x 156cm
A good, original example. The underside of the lid with later strengthening batens, lacking several locks, handles and escutcheons original, some damage to one foot, much dirt, requires cleaning / cosmetic restoration
