These beautiful hand-coloured engravings of butterflies are from Sir William Jardine’s The Naturalist's Library – Entomology, Volume V, Foreign Butterflies illustrated by James Duncan. Published by WH Lizars, Edinburgh 1837.

Each print measures approximately 4in x 6.5in (10cm x 15.5cm).
