British War Medal 1914-1920 of 203699 Private Frederick Stockton Davies of the Gloucestershire Regiment. Sold with photocopy papers.Resident of Leominster, Hereford. Enlisted on 27th November 1915. Mobilised on 10th April 1916 and posted to the Hereford Regiment. Landed in France on 19th December 1916 and joined 1st/5th Battalion, Gloucester Regiment (Territorial Force). Received gunshot wounds to the lower back and right thigh on 5th August 1917. Medically evacuated to United Kingdom on 10th August 19178. Transferred to the Reserve on 23rd February 1919.
