1840 1d Black Pl.1b. Interesting group of sixteen used adhesives from plate 1b consisting of ten 1d Blacks (SG1-3) six of which are in matched pairs with 1d Red-brown (SG7). Including a watermark inverted example just shaved at top (II), Manchester ‘fishtail’ distinctive MC in black (IG) and several re-entries, constant varieties and double letters. Mixed condition but worth further inspection. (SG1-3) Spec. AS4-7.
