A SELECTION OF UNIFORM FOR A PRE 1953 LORD LIEUTENANT.
Comprising a Scarlet eight button jacket silver graid cuffs with three buttons, elaborate shoulder boards with crown above a rose against a woven ground, a matching pair of dark blue trousers with red stripe. A flat topped peaked cap with red band and crown and rose badge above a braid mounted peak. A bicorn hat with elaborate red and white feather cresting, matching button and silver braid, the feathers in a Japanned tin travelling tube. With a matching khaki uniform with a five button jacket with red collar rank and rose and crown to the shoulders with medal ribbons for Jubilee Medal 1935, Coronation Medal 1937 and one other. Matching trousers and peaked cap, a further cap, sword frog and two rank badges. The majority manufactures by Lesley Roberts, 16 George St Hanover Square.
