Three Chinese export porcelain famille rose plates, comprising a plate with scalloped rim, painted with two birds in a garden with peonies issuing from rockwork, two garden seats and a bird house, within a floral and leafy scroll rim, 9in. (22.8cm.) diameter; and two floral painted plates, one cracked; together with a soup bowl painted with an elegant lady and her attendant carrying a parasol in a garden, within an underglaze blue diaper border with gilt and iron red reserves with insects, flowers and a grotesque bird, 9 5/8in. (24.5cm.) diameter, cracked. (4) - Scalloped plate: Tiny chip and some glaze frits to rim. Gilt wear. No other faults. - Floral plate (with semi-circle border): Small rim chip. Some glaze scratches and gilt wear. - Floral plate: Hairlines around the well. Tiny chip and several glaze frits to rim. - Figural bowl: Chip and hairline to rim.
