A 9ct gold mounted compass on a 9ct belcher chain, length 62cm, weight 15.6gms
Weight of the chain;- 11.3gms approx
Weight of the compass;- 4.6gms approx any discrepancy between the overall weight and those above is because I cant take the compass off the chain, end loop too big and obviously soldered on after the compass was put on the chain. chain all good, with 9ct stamped to the clasp and tag.
compass;- has some movement but not smoothly, sticks a bit. Glass intact, body of the compass with full Chester hallmarks, the thin rim that hold the glass is gold plated, this is just one side. otherwise good
