A pair of Dresden porcelain covered vases, probably early 20th century, blue painted crowned D marks, ovoid form with two gilt elephant handles and four gilt paw feet, painted with quatrefoil reserves with harbour scenes with figures and ships, bordered by floral sprays, ribbons and scrollwork, the domed covers similarly decorated, 5 3/8in. (13.6cm.) high; together with an Augustus Rex covered sparrow beak cream jug and baluster pounce pot, painted with birds and insects, plus another cover. (5) * - Pair vases: Minor gilt wear. No other faults. - AR: Some gilt wear. Pounce pot has a small chip to lower gilt edge of fixed 'lid'.
