Birmingham Trade Token, in silver, for 1 Shilling 1812, Payable at the Workhouse, VF. Five AE trade tokens: Lewes, E Sussex, Mary Akehurst ½ penny, rev "Cleft Neare Lveist M.A. 1667", see "Trade Tokens issued in the Seventeenth Century" by Williamson p 1169 No 73 where he states Mary Akehurst was a Quaker "to the great displeasure of her husband, who treated her very brutally for her heresy". GF (small piece of flan missing); ½d tokens: Portsea 1794, George Edward Sageants) VF; The Wooden Walls of England 1795 VF, Prosperity to the Wooden Walls of Old England, Kent ½d 1795 Payable at Deptford, Chatham and Dover GVF or better; and British Naval ½d "England Expects Every Man to do his Duty" with bust of Nelson.
