A rare George II Galway octagonal silver waiter or small salver, with a moulded border, enclosing a contemporary armorial of a chevron between three squirrels sejant, beneath a demi griffin rampant, within a scrolling cartouche, the underside with marriage monograms W.S.M and a scratch weight of 11ozs., by Mark Fallon, Galway, circa 1730, 17.3cms, 10ozs.
CONDITION: Minor scratches, nicks and dings in general, commensurate with age and some use, otherwise in good order. Marks clear.
