A Ralph Wood type creamware Toby jug of standard type, raising a glass to his lips, c.1790, decorated in pale translucent glazes, holding a cup to his lips with a tobacco pipe resting to his right side, 24.5cm high, glaze losses to rim
There are some glaze losses around the rim of his tricorn hat and a visible over-glazed seam to the right hand side of the Toby jug, otherwise in good condition. A few small typical unglazed patches.
