W. Avery & Sons Redditch - A 19th century Victorian circa. 1870's brass needle case etui. The needle case being in the form of a scallop shell with repousse decoration to outside opening of swivel mechanism to reveal a needle holder within engraved with branch coral. Marked for W. Avery & Sons of Redditch to plate within with numbered cartouche corresponding with different period needle types. The case holding two folders of egg eyed needles. Measures 130mm length extended.
