A silver open-faced pocket being the inner to a pair-cased watch the fusee movement signed Gowland, Sunderland, having a pierced and engraved backcock engraved Improved Patent, diameter 50mm, total weight ca. 117.08gms. Another with an unsigned movement and having a pierced and engraved backcock to the plain steel balance with the case hallmarked for Birmingham and stamped WH, probably the casemaker William Hammon, Coventry, diameter 45mm, total weight ca. 79.49gms.
