Michael Turner. A single sheet poster for the 'Toyota Grand Prix of The United States' Wakins Glen October 7th, 1979: the upper section with photograph portraits of (Mario) Andretti, (Jody) Scheckter, (Alan) Jones, (Jacques) Laffite, (Gilles) Villeneuve and (Niki) Lauda, printed by Wilcox Press, Ithaca NY, 93.5 x 50cm. Note - Niki Lauda competed in the 1979 F1 Championship with the Brabham-Alfa Romeo team under Bernie Ecclestone. During practice for the 1979 Canadian Grand Prix, Lauda cut short a practice session and told the team he wished to quit immediately as he no longer had the desire to 'continue the silliness of driving around in circles'. His photograph is included on the poster though he did not participate in the race.
