Includes a study of "C.G.H.S." opts. with examples of position shifts, inversions, double printings, etc. Also of note, 1920 (1 Mar.) surcharges inc. the scarce 5pf on 15pf violet SG 11 (£950) , 1921 (20 Mar.) optd. Plebiscite set of 11 to 1m magenta SG 36/46 (£425) and group of 5 forgeries of the 1920 (14 Feb.) "C.I.H.S." opts. in red. Postal history inc. 1887 Official letter ex Beuthen to Dombrowa and a range of 12 Plebiscite period (1920-22) commercial covers. Collection also includes a range of unoverprinted German issues of the period. All stamps identified by Michel no. A very fine lot presented on display pages. (c.207 stamps plus 14 covers)
