A set of four early 19th century fruitwood dining chairs with swag carved vertical rail backs and stuffed over seats, on square taper supports
Height from seat to ground is 18"
All chairs have worm holes all over.
There are some splits and losses, particularly the seat blocks, a couple of the seat blocks are replacements and/or have various damages.
It appears that the chairs have been fairly recently reupholstered and re-webbed.
All of the chairs are slightly wobbly however there's one which is considerably more wobbly than the rest. This chair also has a repair to be bottom of the central splat.
