19th Century French Napoleon III Cave a Liqueur Mother of Pearl Decor. A stunning condition c1870 Napoleonic French Cave a Liqueur tantalus containing four decanters and sixteen glasses, the rosewood case inlaid with mother of pearl boulle work on the front and top, with key. No chips, damage or repairs to glasses or decanters, in excellent and complete condition. Slight sunlight discolouration to top of box. Height 60cms. Further embellished by brass inlay decor around the edges. Inside the box, a container holds 16 crystal glasses and four carafes with cut-glass stoppers; every glass and decanter has unique, gilt decor beautifully embellished with hand painted gilt star motif.
