Sgt (Pilot) Wilfred Gibson enlisted Royal Flying Corps June 1915 served as a machine rigger with the 4th wing. Born Easington, Co. Durham served H.Q. Royal Air Force, he was killed in an air accident flying a Sopwith Dolphin of 91 Squadron in Kenley, buried Hetton Cemetary.
