A Belgian DB 24 bore top lever non ejector hammer gun by Bayard, 45” overall, barrels 29”, the top rib brass inlaid “Acier Bayard”, engraved “Anciens Etablissements Piper Herstel”, and gold inlaid “24”, the breeches also bearing horseman trademark, “Bayard Demi Block Choke Bored” and “Pour Poudre Vives”, with Liege proofs and numbered 5115, 26715 and 5727; the back locks engraved with game birds; the dark walnut stock having chequered fore end and wrist.
