BURGESS, Anthony. 'A Clock Work Orange,' First edition, first issue, bound in black boards and with the wide-flapped dust jacket priced 16s, extra glassine wrap taped to pastedown with yellowing of tape, spotting to edge of text block, fair to good, Heinemann, London, 1962. Not without its faults, this increasingly scarce print as in a more than salvageable condition. Although with some questionable taping and quite the fitted glassine wrap, I believe it has preserved the dj very well indeed. The text block is tight and the black cloth appears to have only suffered towards the head where exposed. The cataloguer has not removed the dj (and probably wont).
