A good antique cased hydrometer by G.H.Zeal ltd London, the set looks fully complete which includes the flotation sphere and 9 weights and thermometer, hydrometers were used to measure the density of liquids, ones like this were used by distillers to determine the strength of spirits. In beatiful looked after condition with no damage. Length ofthe case is 22.5cm, width of 9cm and a height of 6.5cm.
