An early 19th Century French cuirassier officer's sword, 38 inch blade, pierced brass hilt and guard, brass wire grip with metal scabbard, the edge of the blade inscribed with an address and date April 1816.
Blade very good with proof marks , light spotting probably cleaned in the past but not recently
Purchased 12 years ago from a reputable Arms collector/dealer in Brighton
